In view of the sudden spike in the cases of coronavirus infections in Himachal Pradesh, the state government announced ‘Corona Curfew’ for 10 days to contain the spread of the virus, starting 6am on 7 May.
Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati announced a curfew from 8pm to 6am, and lockdown during the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) indefinitely, except for exempted categories of frontline workers.
